Vikings Fire Brad Childress, Name Leslie Frazier Interim Coach

The firing comes just 10 months after Childress was coaching the Vikings in the NFC championship game. But almost everything that could go wrong this season has gone wrong as Minnesota has stumbled to a 3-7 record -- Brett Favre came back but is having a disappointing season; the Vikings traded for and subsequently released Randy Moss; and several players spoke out in the media to make it clear that they didn't respect Childress.
And now it has come to an end. Vikings owner Zygi Wilf has seen enough, and Childress will no longer be the Vikings' head coach.
"The past five years have been a tremendous experience for my family and I as the Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings," Childress said in a statement. "I have a great respect for the players and coaches who I have worked with and for their dedication to each other and to the organization. I am proud of our accomplishments and believe the foundation of this football team is stronger today than when I became Head Coach in 2006. I appreciate the opportunity that Zygi, Mark, and the whole Wilf family afforded me and wish them success as they move forward."

Does Kobe Deserve the ‘Call of Duty’ Backlash? - AgencySpy
Does Kobe Deserve the ‘Call of Duty’ Backlash?
First off, let’s leave Kobe Bryant alone. Now, the Black Mamba’s getting so much crap for his role in TBWA\Chiat\Day’s spot for the new Call of Duty: Black Ops video game, which rocks–both the game and the spot, that is. People are forgetting one very important element. It’s only a GAME and Kobe doesn’t merit being called “a damned fool.”
Basically, everyone is having a huge fit over these types of videogames ,which allegedly are a bad influence on children and teaches them that violence is OK. Adults, please try and calm down. Your children aren’t stupid. They understand you can’t go around shooting people in real life. Give them a little more credit-but that’s the whole point, “It isn’t real life.”
It’s many a young lad’s dream to play soldier and right now the whole world is having fun playing because that’s all it is, PLAYING. I know Kobe is supposed to be a good role model to children and all that but he’s only human and the tagline for the game is a very insightful truth, “There’s a soldier in all of us.” What do you think? Does Kobe deserve all the criticism? Here’s the spot one more time below for you to view and decide.
